This article will look at a comparison of the use of podcasts and video content in education and their effectiveness in teaching English. In the modern digital educational environment, multimedia media play an important role in developing communication skills and increasing students' interest in learning a language. The main purpose of the study is to determine the benefits and impact of podcasts and video content on English language learning. The study showed that podcasts are effective for developing students' listening and pronunciation skills. On the other hand, video content helps students learn new words quickly and effectively by showing visual information, images, movements, and real-life situations. The videos provide students with the opportunity to understand the use of words in context, improving their understanding of grammatical structures and sentence-building skills. In addition, video content develops students' listening comprehension and promotes the perception of the natural rhythm and intonation of speech in English. The article analyzes in detail the advantages and disadvantages of podcasts and video content, as well as compares their role in the educational process. It is also recommended that these two methods be used together in English lessons as an effective method of developing students' language skills and increasing their motivation to learn.
