The silver craft of Kotagede faces significant threats to its sustainability due to declining artisans and market competition, necessitating a rapid digitalization solution to preserve traditional engraving techniques. This Community Service (PkM) collaboration, involving the Product Design and Information Systems study programs, aimed to formulate and implement a robust Data Collection and Archiving Strategy for silver craft products to be integrated into the Teko Perakku e-catalog. The focus of the strategy was the quality of content and visual documentation. The methodology involved: (1) Standardization of Product Categories, (2) Professional Product Photography Documentation to ensure optimal visual representation, and (3) Collection of Material Specifications and Design Concepts via in-depth interviews with the artisans. The e-catalog system itself was developed using the prototyping model with a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. This strategy successfully collected and archived a comprehensive product database from five Kotagede silver craft SMEs. The data became the foundation for the Teko Perakku e-catalog, which has been fully developed and officially launched. This achievement establishes a single source of truth for product data, creating a vital foundation for the preservation of design archives and enhancing global market access for Kotagede SMEs.)
