As hybrid collections of print and electronic resources expand in academic libraries, challenges for promotion, discovery, and engagement become more prominent. This exploratory case study examines the implementation of Primo Collections at a mid-size public state university library to promote collections and encourage digital browsing. Primo Collections was chosen for its ability to bring together multiple formats in a visually appealing front-facing digital display. Furthermore, with the use of QR codes and URLs, the platform is easily embedded into web pages and promotional materials. This article looks at Primo Collections as a component of a larger marketing initiative. In addition, it examines its multiple benefits as well as its limitations. Anticipated improvements of Primo Collections along with future applications are discussed as they relate to upcoming projects and the potential for adoption at other institutions.
