The relevance of the study stems from the increasing prevalence and complexity of criminal offenses committed through raider takeovers, which necessitates improving the forensic support of their investigation. Particular importance is attached to examining the methods of committing such criminal offenses as one of the key elements of their forensic characterization. The purpose of the study is to examine the methods of committing criminal offenses through raider takeovers and to develop their classification. To achieve this purpose, a set of methods was employed, including the dialectical method, analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, the system-structural method, classification, the formal legal method, and content analysis. The study established that raider takeover methods have a complex structure and encompass a set of interrelated actions involving the preparation, direct commission, and concealment of a criminal offense. The main methods of preparing for a raider takeover include selecting the target, collecting and analyzing information about it, developing a takeover scheme, and formulating a strategy for unlawful acquisition. A classification of raider takeover methods based on the nature of their legality and the presence of an accompanying criminal offense is proposed. This approach makes it possible to systematize the methods of implementing criminal intent and contributes to identifying itted through raider takeovers.
