This paper presents a comprehensive study of error effects and correction for the Super Tau-Charm Facility (STCF) collider rings. Sensitivity analysis indicates that misalignments of quadrupoles and sextupoles, particularly those in the final focus region and interaction region, introduce significant closed orbit distortions, 𝛽-beat, transverse coupling, and then degradation of luminosity and nonlinear dynamics. A preliminary error budget is established accordingly, and then, systematic corrections are implemented. Simulation results show that, after correction, the global closed orbit, 𝛽-beat, dispersion distortion and coupling ratio can be effectively reduced to acceptable levels. The impact on the nonlinear dynamics and luminosity is much suppressed. These results validate the robustness of the STCF lattice design and provide preliminary guidance for the machine commissioning.
