The Common Denominator: Humanism, Freedom, Community and Technological Resilience as the Foundation of a Federal Order Theoretical Proposal and Research Programme – Version 1.0 (English Translation) This manuscript presents an interdisciplinary theoretical proposal and research programme for a possible federal order in which diverse political, economic, cultural and social systems may coexist within a shared framework of fundamental protections. The proposed Federation of the New Earth rests on four interconnected pillars: 1. Inalienable human rights and human dignity 2. Protection and regeneration of the natural foundations of life 3. Autonomy and self-determination of communities 4. Oversight, limitation and corrigibility of power A central principle is that no political, economic, military, technological, legal or institutional power may remain exclusively subject to its own oversight. The research connects political philosophy, human rights, institutional accountability, economic development, technological resilience, migration, humanitarian protection and artificial intelligence. It explores concepts including community autonomy, voluntary association and exit rights, the Accountability Declaration (Machenschaftserklärung), economic transformation through Entgeldung, atmospheric water harvesting using metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), pilot communities, the Preventive Resilience Initiative (PRI), Basic Resilience Capacity (GRV), and mechanisms for institutional self-examination. Particular attention is given to the relationship between freedom and material independence, the risks of institutionalised power, and the conditions under which humanitarian assistance can strengthen local capabilities without creating permanent dependencies. The manuscript distinguishes normative commitments, theoretical models, hypotheses, empirical findings, counterevidence and future visions. It proposes mechanisms for independent evaluation, institutional learning, falsification and revision. The Federation of the New Earth is not presented as an empirically validated political system or an inevitable model of societal development. It is an open theoretical framework whose assumptions, institutions and proposed mechanisms remain subject to scientific examination, democratic criticism and possible rejection. The underlying research principle is that any system claiming to protect human dignity and freedom must itself remain transparent, accountable and corrigible.
