This study presents the design of a 2D animation titled “CONTRAST” as a social campaign addressing the influence of the social environment on adolescent character formation, based on the phenomenon of teenagers in the identity-seeking stage who are highly influenced by social acceptance and therefore vulnerable to negative environmental impacts. The aim is to create a communicative and engaging media that effectively delivers social messages to adolescents. The production process includes storyboard development, character design, animation production, and testing through social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The results show positive audience responses, including high view counts, wide reach to new audiences, and strong engagement through likes, comments, shares, and saves, indicating that 2D animation is an effective medium for social campaigns that enhances emotional connection and message delivery, while digital platforms serve as a strategic channel to reach adolescents broadly and effectively.
