Waste management in rural areas remains a serious challenge due to a lack of adequate disposal facilities and low public awareness regarding household waste management. This issue is evident in Blong Lauk Hamlet, Sukarara Village, which previously lacked an organized waste disposal site, leading residents to indiscriminately dump or burn waste practices that risk polluting the surrounding environment. This community service initiative aimed to construct a waste disposal facility to promote environmental conservation while fostering awareness and community participation in maintaining the cleanliness of the residential area. The program was implemented in four stages: environmental assessment, coordination with hamlet and village officials, community outreach, and the construction of the waste disposal facility through a collaborative community effort. The results indicate that the facility was successfully constructed thanks to the active support of residents, hamlet officials, and the participating students; the project also succeeded in reducing the habits of indiscriminate dumping and burning of waste near the settlement. Accompanying outreach activities improved residents' understanding of the importance of sorting organic and inorganic waste, as well as the associated impacts on health and environmental sustainability. The program is concluded to offer a tangible solution to local waste issues and to encourage sustainable, clean living habits through active community engagement. Future sustainability requires village government support in the form of routine management and ongoing education to ensure the facility is utilized optimally by all hamlet residents
