Public services are community rights guaranteed through legal provisions and must be carried out in a transparent, accountable, responsive, and non-discriminatory manner. This service activity aims to increase public understanding of the right to public services through a legal and public administration perspective. Mentoring is carried out with an educational-participatory approach through the identification of needs, preparation of materials, delivery of materials, discussions, case analysis, and evaluation of understanding. The results of the evaluation showed an increase in the average understanding of participants from 46.7% before mentoring to 86.2% after mentoring. The greatest improvement was found in the understanding of the complaint mechanism and the ability to recognize maladministration. This activity shows that law-based assistance and public administration can strengthen public literacy and encourage participation in more independent supervision of public services.
