This study aims to describe and analyze the effectiveness of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT)-based student worksheets (LKPD) embedded with Jember local wisdom in improving students' mathematical literacy in statistics at Grade X of Senior High School. The local contexts integrated include sales data of Jember’s edamame products, tourist visit data by age group, and the Pandhalungan Culinary Festival and Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC). The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design using the Kemmis and McTaggart model with two cycles of two sessions each, involving 36 students. Data collection instruments included pre-tests and post-tests aligned with the PISA 2022 framework, student activity observation sheets, learning implementation observation sheets, and a student questionnaire on LKPD effectiveness. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and Hake’s normalized N-Gain. Results showed an increase in mean scores from 20.56 (pre-cycle) to 52.61 (Cycle I) and 74.25 (Cycle II). Classical completeness increased from 0% to 16.67% (Cycle I) and 75.00% (Cycle II). Mean N-Gain was 0.40 (Cycle I) and 0.46 (Cycle II), both in the moderate category, with a cumulative N-Gain from pre-cycle to Cycle II of 0.68, approaching the high category, accompanied by an increase in student questionnaire scores on LKPD effectiveness 68,38% to 85,30%. These findings indicate that CRT-based LKPD incorporating local wisdom significantly promotes students' mathematical literacy. These results imply the importance of integrating local wisdom into mathematics teaching material development; teachers and material developers are recommended to adapt similar approaches to other topics, accompanied by continued mentoring to ensure classical mastery consistently reaches the high category.
