This article examines how Indonesian Evangelical theology holds biblical inerrancy and contextualization together in the Pancasila public sphere. Using qualitative document analysis and thematic analysis within Osmer’s practical-theological framework, it analyzes eight primary documents from PGLII and its member synod GKII, with a GBI document as an internal Pentecostal comparator and a PGI pastoral letter as an external comparator. First, the evangelical confessions affirm inerrancy, in GKII’s translation even more strongly than its English source, but omit the hermeneutical qualifications of the Chicago Statement; GBI, by contrast, explicitly rejects proof-texting. Second, contextualization appears as critical boundary-setting: GKII acknowledges cultural forms of marriage while holding its principle. Third, PGLII’s public statements combine policy advocacy with affirmations of incumbent power during the 2024 election. The article argues that inerrancy and contextualization correct each other and proposes hermeneutical and political guidelines for evangelical synods
