Based on several studies, the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is considered effective in improving student learning outcomes; however, its impact on the affective domain still requires comprehensive research. This study aims to comprehensively examine the implementation of RME on students’ affective aspects across various levels of education. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review, analyzing various relevant studies sourced from Google Scholar. The results of the review indicate that, based on the literature, RME studies are more frequently associated with mathematical disposition. In terms of effectiveness, RME has a highly optimal impact on character development, motivation, and student engagement in learning. Conversely, regarding mathematical disposition, self-efficacy, and interest in learning, the outcomes remain below national standards but show a positive trend. Thus, RME effectively serves as a foundation for creating a conducive learning environment, thereby encouraging student engagement and motivation. Additionally, RME can stimulate cognitive development to the point of achieving optimal mathematical disposition.
