In the museum of Mogadouro collection there is a sculpture of Christ carved in wood with articulated arms, dated from the 17th century. It is part of a processional baroque sculptural type unusual in Portugal, nevertheless, in the cross-border territory of Mogadouro, we identified three of these sculptures. This article reflects the study of this iconography model with the objective of identifying transboundary relations with Castilla Leon in Spain, where this dynamic typology of processional sculptures is more common.
