Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant public health problem in West Java Province, with the distribution of the TB Case Detection Rate varying across districts and cities. As an infectious disease, TB transmission is closely related to geographic proximity and interactions among populations, meaning that TB incidence in one area may be influenced by conditions in neighboring areas, indicating the presence of spatial dependence that needs to be considered in statistical analysis. This study aims to analyze the spatial pattern of the TB Case Detection Rate and identify health and housing condition factors that influence TB across 27 districts/cities in West Java Province in 2024. The study uses secondary data on the TB Case Detection Rate and related explanatory variables. Spatial autocorrelation was tested using Moran’s Index, while an inverse distance spatial weight matrix was applied to represent geographic proximity and the potential for interregional transmission. Prior to spatial modeling, classical assumptions were tested and satisfied. Model selection was conducted using the Lagrange Multiplier (LM) test and the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), which indicated that the Spatial Autoregressive (SAR) model was the most appropriate. The results show a significant spatial autocorrelation in the TB Case Detection Rate, confirming the need for spatial regression analysis. The SAR model estimation indicates that the TB Case Detection Rate is significantly influenced by neighboring regions. Additionally, the number of new HIV/AIDS cases has a positive effect on TB, while malaria morbidity rate, dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) incidence rate, and the percentage of households living in adequate housing have negative effects on the TB Case Detection Rate. Diagnostic tests indicate that the residuals of the SAR model are normally distributed and homoscedastic. These findings highlight the importance of a spatial approach in TB analysis due to the potential spread of the disease across geographically adjacent areas. The negative relationship between TB and malaria as well as dengue reflects differences in regional characteristics, where areas with high TB rates tend to have environmental and epidemiological conditions different from those in malaria- and dengue-endemic regions. Therefore, TB control policies should consider spatial linkages and regional characteristics. Keywords: Tuberculosis, Spatial Autoregressive, Moran’s Index, Inverse Distance.
