The Free Nutritious MealsProgram (MBG) is one of the government’s strategic policies aimed at improving the nutritional status of the population while strengthening the quality of Indonesia’s human resources. This program is implemented through the Nutritional Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG), which serves as the implementing unit responsible for distributing nutritious meals to target groups. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the MBG Program’s implementation through the SPPG in Bendotretek Village, its contribution to community well-being, and its impact on improving the quality of human resources. The study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach through literature review and policy analysis. The results indicate that the MBG Program has the potential to improve community nutritional intake, reduce the risk of stunting and malnutrition, create new job opportunities, and increase community productivity. Furthermore, this program contributes to human capital development through improved health, the capacity for lifelong learning, and the productivity of the current and future generations as they work toward Indonesia’s Golden Age in 2045. These findings are consistent with Keynesian theory, which emphasizes the importance of government intervention in improving the well-being of the community and promoting economic growth through an increase in aggregate demand.
