The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into academic workflows has significantly transformed the landscape of scholarly writing. This paper explores the application of AI tools in structuring academic papers, with a specific focus on how generative AI and large language models (LLMs) can assist researchers in organizing complex data and adhering to rigorous publishing standards. By analyzing the traditional challenges associated with academic structuring—such as maintaining logical flow, formatting citations, and organizing the IMRaD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) framework—this paper demonstrates how AI can be utilized as an assistive technology to enhance efficiency and coherence. Furthermore, the paper critically examines the limitations and ethical considerations of AI-assisted writing, including the risks of fabricated citations (hallucinations) and the importance of preserving human critical thinking. Ultimately, this paper argues that while AI offers powerful structural scaffolding for academic manuscripts, it must be deployed as a supportive tool rather than a replacement for human intellectual rigor and academic integrity.
