English vocabulary learning at SD Negeri 169/VII Mentawak Baru still relies heavily on Student Worksheets (LKS), so students' opportunities for interactive and enjoyable practice are still limited. This study aims to develop a Game-Based Learning-oriented board game media for English vocabulary learning for fifth-grade students and to test its validity and practicality. The study used a research and development method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The trial subjects were 28 students of class VA. Product validation involved four validators on the aspects of content, language, presentation, and graphics feasibility; the vocabulary test instrument was checked by an additional validator. Practicality was assessed through responses from an English teacher as well as a small group test of eight students and a large group test of 20 students. The product is a physical board game with the theme "Buying Some Mangoes and Spinach", equipped with colored question cards, pawns, dice, answer keys, and game instructions. The validation results obtained an overall score of 94% with a very valid category. Practicality reached an average of 93.54%, rounded to 94%, categorized as very practical. The average vocabulary test after using the media reached 85. Thus, the product meets the criteria for validity and practicality to support English vocabulary practice in fifth grade.
