Dentigerous cysts (DCs) are odontogenic cysts linked to impacted or partially erupted teeth. Two types of DCs are reported according to their origin: developmental, which is the most common type, and inflammatory, which is less frequent. Typically asymptomatic, these cysts are often found incidentally during routine radiographic examinations. This case report discusses an inflammatory DC in a nine-year-old male patient, who was conservatively treated through marsupialization. The treatment was successful, facilitating the eruption of the affected tooth without any signs of recurrence.
