High-quality health care play an important role on patient satisfaction, especially in inpatient wards where patients receive continuous nursing care. One important factor that may influence patient satisfaction is caring behavior demonstrated by nurses. This study aimed to determine the relationship between nurses’ caring behavior and patient satisfaction among inpatients at Manembo-Nembo Hospital in Bitung. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using total sampling techniques. The instruments used were nurses’ caring behavior and patient satisfaction questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman correlation test. The findings showed that the majority of respondents perceived their nurses’ caring behavior as fair (61%), and the majority of the respondents reported satisfied (67%) with the care they received. Statistical analysis showed a significant positive relationship between nurses’ caring behavior and patient satisfaction levels (r = 0.482; p = 0.001). Therefore, nurses are expected to improve their caring behavior when providing care to enhance patient satisfaction.
