Strawberry plant propagation in Indonesia is still mostly done by conventional methods, this method produces quality seeds that are vulnerable to pests and diseases that come from their parents, causing strawberry production to decline. Thus, in vitro culture can be an alternative to propagate strawberries by producing seeds that are free from pests and diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of BAP (Benzyl Amino Purine) and NAA (Naphthalene Acetic Acid) and the most influential concentration on strawberry growth. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 10 treatment levels and 3 replicates, supplemented with various combinations of NAA (0.05 mg L-1, 0.1 mg L-1, and 0.15 mg L-1) and BAP (0.5 mg L-1, BAP 1.5 mg L-1, and BAP 2.5 mg L-1). The results of this study indicate that the addition of NAA with BAP has an effect but is not significant on the growth of strawberry explants. The addition of 0.05 mg L⁻¹ NAA + 2.5 mg L⁻¹ BAP (Treatment D) has the potential to increase the number of shoots and leaves in strawberry plant explants in vitro.
