Adolescence is a critical developmental period in which health behaviors that will last a lifetime are established. Nutrition, physical activity and sleep emerge as three fundamental behavioral domains that directly determine adolescent health and are interconnected and mutually influence one another during this period. Global and national data indicate that the situation in these areas is extremely alarming; the majority of adolescents fail to meet physical activity recommendations, nutritional patterns remain inadequate, and sleep problems are widely prevalent. With the deep integration of smartphones into adolescent life, artificial intelligence (AI)-supported mobile applications emerge as a promising approach in this field with their capacity to provide personalized and real-time interventions. This review addresses the role of AI-supported mobile applications in supporting nutrition, physical activity and sleep behaviors in adolescents from a nursing perspective. Although digital health interventions may support improvements in health behaviors, evidence specifically demonstrating the effectiveness of AI-supported applications among adolescents remains limited. Considering potential limitations such as data privacy and algorithmic bias, the integration of these applications into school health services warrants further research.
