Key result
Infant-adapted Ozaki aortic valve neotricuspidization achieves good postoperative hemodynamics in a seven-month-old.
Why the study?
Infants in whom aortic valve reconstruction is impossible or risky require alternative surgical approaches, such as adapting Ozaki procedure templates for neotricuspidization.

An infant-adapted Ozaki procedure achieved a good postoperative hemodynamic outcome in a 7-month-old infant, offering a potential alternative when standard aortic valve reconstruction is impossible or risky.
We present a case study of neotricuspidization of the aortic valve with neocusp suturing based on templates similar to those used in the Ozaki procedure but adapted for infants. This is an alternative for patients when valve reconstruction is impossible or risky. A good postoperative hemodynamic outcome was obtained, but it is necessary to evaluate this approach on the basis of long-term results.
