The widespread use of social media among adolescents has made content credibility a significant factor in shaping public attitudes toward government programs. Studies examining the credibility of government public communication content, particularly on the official Tiktok account of the National Nutrition Agency (@badangizinasional.ri) as a medium for desseminating information about the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, remain limited. This study aims to examine the influence of MBG (Free Nutritious Meal) program content credibility on social media toward the attitudes of senior high school students regarding the MBG program. This research applied the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory and Media Effects theory as its theoretical foundation. A quantitative approach with survey method was employed, collecting data from 99 students of SMAN 4 Garut selected through simple random sampling using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicated that content credibility has a positive and significant influence on students attitudes toward the MBG program. These findings reinforce the application of the SOR Theory in the context of government public communication through social media and provide practical recommendations for the National Nutrition Agency to develop more effective communication strategies for improving public acceptance of the Free Nutritious Meal Program.
