Topology as a Witness, Priced Against the Conjunction Fence: It Stands Outside — and the Boundary Is the Result

The foundations file's first priced contact with the topological-witness literature. Zhao et al. (Nature Physics, DOI 10.1038/s41567-026-03487-x) transfer a photonic skyrmion's topology to bi-photon states; the invariant remains intact after entanglement vanishes, with non-classicality carried by non-zero quantum discord. The carrier is verified computationally: on the separable family rho(p) = p|00><00| + (1-p)|1+><1+| the concurrence is identically 0.000000 while discord computes to 0.0802-0.2018 bits across the interior — discord-without-entanglement is generic in the separable set, so the claim's state-side premise is sound. The fence test against #449/#479's conjunction checks and the almost-quantum witness framework (NT-B8's exhibits) is then structural: the fence prices correlation-set witnesses (information causality, CHSH/Tsirelson conjunctions), and discord is a state-and-side property invisible to device-independent correlation witnesses. The witness therefore has no priced variable inside the fence to be admitted by, and violates no conjunction either: it sits OUTSIDE the fence, printed as outside with both directions and its reopening conditions. EXTENSION. Quantum gravity NOT SOLVED; vacuum catastrophe NOT SOLVED.
