Hwang et al. (2026) conducted a case report in Middle cerebral artery fenestration mimicking proximal M1 stenosis (n=1). Computed tomography angiography vs. Time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography was evaluated on Diagnosis of middle cerebral artery fenestration. Computed tomography angiography demonstrated a short-segment right M1 fenestration that mimicked severe focal stenosis on time-of-flight MRA in a 65-year-old woman.
