The article examines the potential of integrating generative artificial intelligence technologies into the school informatics curriculum — specifically during Python programming instruction — to foster social responsibility among students. Using the example of neural network usage in Python programming, the study provides a detailed analysis of three components of social responsibility: the cognitive (knowledge-based), the emotional-value, and the behavioral (action-oriented) components. Drawing on contemporary pedagogical and psychological research, the article substantiates the need to move beyond students' "blind trust" in AI technologies. The neural networks used in programming are listed. A lesson plan is presented that includes practical Python programming tasks designed to address the cognitive, emotional-value, and behavioral components of social responsibility. Particular emphasis is placed on developing skills in critical code verification, academic integrity, and understanding the legal and regulatory aspects of AI technology use. The article is intended for informatics teachers and specialists in digital education methodology.
