This study aims to analyze the relationship between item reliability and test score consistency in Arabic language learning assessment at the elementary level. Reliability plays a crucial role in ensuring the consistency and accuracy of assessment instruments, which impacts the quality of learning evaluation. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational analysis method. The research sample consisted of 15 students from SDIT Al-Khawarizmi who took an Arabic language proficiency test, specifically on the topic of isim isyarah. The reliability of the multiple-choice test instrument was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha, while the relationship between reliability and consistency was analyzed using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation technique via SPSS. The results showed that the test instrument had a high reliability value with a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.834, which is greater than the minimum threshold of 0.60. The Pearson correlation test yielded a significance value of 0.004 less than 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.767, indicating a strong relationship between the reliability of the test items and the consistency of the test results. Thus, this study demonstrates that a reliable assessment instrument contributes to the consistency of student learning outcomes, which supports the effectiveness of Arabic language learning evaluation. Therefore, teachers are advised to conduct validity and reliability tests on test items before use to ensure more accurate and high-quality assessments.
