This study aimed to identify the role of secondary school principals in Jeddah in improving students’ General Aptitude Test (GAT) results from teachers’ perspectives, across four dimensions: school environment preparation, student motivation and preparation, teachers’ professional development, and community partnership. It also examined statistically significant differences according to selected demographic variables. The study adopted a descriptive survey method, using a questionnaire administered to a sample of secondary school teachers. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results indicated that the role of school principals in improving GAT results was rated at a high level, with an overall mean score of approximately (4.42 out of 5, SD ≈ 0.58). The school environment dimension ranked first (M ≈ 4.63), followed by student preparation and motivation (M ≈ 4.48), teachers’ professional development (M ≈ 4.35), and community partnership (M ≈ 4.21). Statistically significant differences were found in some dimensions based on specific demographic variables. The study emphasized the importance of effective school leadership in enhancing learning outcomes and improving GAT results through supportive environments, teacher development, and active community engagement.
