The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming business management worldwide. AI technologies provide new opportunities to improve operational efficiency, optimize financial management, enhance customer relationships, and strengthen the competitiveness of enterprises. In Uzbekistan, where small and medium-sized businesses play an important role in economic development, the adoption of AI has become an increasingly relevant issue. This article examines the opportunities, challenges, and development prospects associated with the use of artificial intelligence in small and medium-sized business management in Uzbekistan. Particular attention is given to the application of AI in financial analysis, marketing, customer service, inventory management, and strategic decision-making. The study also identifies major barriers to AI adoption, including financial constraints, insufficient digital skills, data security concerns, and limited technological infrastructure in some regions. The article uses a descriptive and analytical approach based on official statistical information, national policy documents, and international development reports. The findings suggest that the effective integration of AI could contribute to greater productivity, improved decision-making, and increased competitiveness among Uzbek enterprises. However, achieving these benefits requires investment in digital infrastructure, professional training, supportive government policies, and responsible data management. The article concludes that a gradual and strategically planned approach to AI adoption is essential for sustainable business development in Uzbekistan.
