The present experimental study investigates the use of geogrid as a reinforcement material in textile reinforced concrete (TRC), and it evaluates the behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened with geogrid textile‐based TRC systems. In this study, three different RC beam configurations, strengthened with TRC with and without hybridization, were examined using two types of geogrid and a glass fiber textile. The tensile behavior of all three textile‐based TRC systems was studied. An end anchorage technique, examined through a direct‐shear‐bond test with the concrete substrate, was introduced to prevent premature debonding of TRC layers and to ensure effective utilization of geogrid reinforcement. All beams were tested under static four‐point loading to evaluate their flexural behavior. The performance of the specimens was compared using parameters such as stiffness and strength degradation, energy dissipation, displacement ductility, and damage index. Digital image correlation was employed to monitor crack propagation and strain distribution throughout the test. Failure modes and cracking patterns were critically analyzed. The results demonstrate that geogrid textile holds strong potential as a reinforcement for TRC, significantly enhancing strength, ductility, damage tolerance capacity, and post‐peak behavior.
