A BSTRACT Primary renal synovial sarcoma (PRSS) is a rare soft tissue tumor with atypical signs, symptoms and imaging characteristics. In this report, A 28-year-old male was incidentally found to have a renal mass. Non-contrast computed tomography (CT) revealed an oval-shaped heterogeneous lesion with well-circumscribed margins in the anterior segment of the right kidney. Subsequent contrast-enhanced CT demonstrated heterogeneous enhancement patterns with peripheral hypervascularity. The patient underwent radical right nephrectomy, with histopathological analysis confirming the diagnosis of PSS. This article will focus on the value of CT imaging in the diagnosis of PRSS and its current status.
