The Principle of Respect for the Person's Honor and Dignity as a General Law Principle in the Legal Systems of Russia and Armenia (A Comparative Law Study)

The article employs a comparativist approach to examine the general legal constitutional principle of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia, namely the principle of respect for the person's honor and dignity. The content of the studied general legal principle is found to be generally consistent in both states. Although the essence is similar, in Armenia, the regulation is more detailed and encompasses a broader range of life situations. However, at the same time, a list of situations in which the restriction of the person's physical and mental inviolability is permitted is established at the constitutional level.
