The article is highlighted and analyzed the influence of role-playing games on the speech development of older preschoolers. The essence of the concept of "preschool child speech" in pedagogical and linguistic literature has been defined and scientifically substantiated. In modern child psychology, the concept of "preschool child speech" encompasses several important aspects related to the development of communicative skills andcognitive processes. The speech of preschool children is considered as a complex phenomenon that has cognitive, social, emotional and physiological dimensions. The development of speech of preschool children has psychological and pedagogical features. Psychological features consist of cognitive development (development of thinking, imagination and fantasy), speech activity (expansion of vocabulary, grammatical correctness) and social interaction(communicative skills, empathy). Pedagogical features include the creation of a speech environment, teaching methods, an individual approach and cooperation with parents. It has been proven that role-playing games are an important element of speech development in older preschoolers, as they have a number of advantages and develop social, speech, cognitive and emotional skills.
