The subject of the research is the professional worldview of cadets as a system-forming component of their future service activities. The object of the study is the process of professional training in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The goal of the work is a structural-component analysis of the professional worldview for the further development of a theoretical and practical basis for its purposeful formation in the context of departmental higher education institutions. The author pays special attention to a detailed analysis of four key components of the professional worldview of cadets. The relevance of the topic is determined by the existence of a significant contradiction between the objective need of the law enforcement system for personnel with a holistic professional worldview and the insufficient scientific development of this phenomenon as an object of purposeful pedagogical formation. Thus, the structural-component analysis of the professional worldview represents a scientific task, the solution of which will allow for the design of an effective model for forming the professional worldview of cadets in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The methodology of the work is based on an interdisciplinary approach that synthesizes the principles of philosophy, psychology, pedagogy, and jurisprudence. The leading method is theoretical analysis, which includes a structural-functional examination of the phenomenon. The main results of the work are as follows. Firstly, an author's definition of the professional worldview of employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation is provided. Secondly, its four-component structure is highlighted and scientifically substantiated. Thirdly, it is proven that the components are in dialectical interconnection, forming a holistic dynamic contour of "motive – value – behavior – reflection." The obtained conclusions and the structure substantiated by the author create a scientific basis for designing the educational process in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. They allow for a transition from fragmented impacts to a holistic system that purposefully shapes each component of the professional worldview. The main conclusion of the article is that the effectiveness of cadet training directly depends on the implementation of a comprehensive pedagogical approach. This approach should aim at the synergistic development of all structural components of the professional worldview, with a priority focus on the formation of deep internal motivation and value-meaning foundations of service.
