Studies were included if they reported quantitative data on DHR use and its association with service delivery quality metrics in Nigerian primary health centers. The review identified a trend towards better patient satisfaction scores (mean increase of 15% from pre-DHR to post-DHR implementation) and reduced administrative time by 20% per patient visit, although these improvements varied significantly across studies. While there is preliminary evidence suggesting that DHRs can enhance service delivery quality in Nigerian primary healthcare centers, further robust research is needed to establish consistent impacts. Future studies should focus on evaluating the sustainability of DHR implementations and exploring cost-effectiveness metrics. Policymakers are encouraged to consider funding models that support DHR development in underserved areas.
