An archaeological watching brief was carried out at Assets 36 and 52 and along several sections of drainage ditch to the north of the above assets and to the south of the Bertha Park Roman Fort (SM2405). A total area amounting to 33,510 square metres was monitored. No features or artefacts of archaeological interest was uncovered during the work.
