Ltd was commissioned by the Client to carry out an archaeological watching brief on land immediately west of St Tudor's Church, Mynyddislwyn, Blackwood, Caerphilly NP12 2BE (ce ntred on National Grid Reference (NGR): ST 319326 193924). The w atching brief revealed disturbed ground throughout the development area. Five in situ burials were encountered as well as numerous disarticulated human remains. Potential evidence for an ea rlier church alignment was also encountered."
