Women's rights in Iraqi society are a vital topic because women are considered an important part of society because their isolation weakens the idea of equality and because women's rights are part of society. Implementing gender equality and justice in the Iraqi legal system has brought positive benefits to Iraqi women and children, not only for Iraq but also for the country's development. It should be noted that countries with smaller gender gaps in the areas of health, education, employment, property rights, etc. enjoy faster economic growth, which is not conducive to the potential development of Iraq as a whole, since the practical reality of providing women’s rights is very weak, which is It is far removed from the constitutional reality and the rights called for by the Constitution as well as other legislation. The problem of the research is that it seeks to unravel the ambiguity surrounding women’s rights in the Iraqi constitution. Although there are provisions in the constitution that guarantee equality between the sexes, the laws and social and cultural customs in Iraq remain an obstacle to achieving this equality in reality.
