During the 35th Anniversary World Congress on Biosensors 2025 held in Lisbon, Portugal, Luca Fiore presented a poster entitled “Paper-based electrochemical (bio)sensors for a disruptive origami Organ-on-Chip device: PHOENIX-OoC”, providing an overview of the PHOENIX-OoC project and its technological objectives. The presentation focused on the development of sustainable paper-based electrochemical sensors integrated into an origami-inspired Organ-on-Chip platform for biomedical applications. Particular attention was dedicated to the development and characterization of electrochemical sensors for pH, nitrate, and glucose detection in cell culture media using paper-based microfluidic analytical devices.
