This deliverable presents the ECHOES strategy for community building in support of the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH). Building on the consultation and mapping activities carried out in D4.1, this strategy document defines the ECCCH community as a federated, practice-based, and non-exclusive ecosystem composed of existing cultural heritage communities, networks, institutions, and emerging communities of practice around shared Cloud tools, services, data, and workflows. The strategy is organised around four Strategic Areas: 1. activating human-to-human connections through the Cultural Heritage Cloud; 2. establishing a network of trust: towards a federation of Cultural heritage actors; 3. integrating diverse community feedback into the Cultural Heritage Cloud development and operation; 4. towards a common language: sharing languages and concepts through the Cultural Heritage Cloud. Across these four areas, the deliverable emphasises inclusivity, Open Science, interoperability, capacity-building, participatory feedback, and long-term sustainability. By linking community building with ECHOES activities in training, integration, governance, assessment, and semantic interoperability, this deliverable provides the strategic basis for the next phase of WP4, which includes the implementation of community building actions, the preparation of the ECCCH Charter, and the future strategy for community growth.
