British Executive Order 02, Republic of Great Britain and Northern Ireland document, Recognition of the state of Earth and the Republic of Gibraltar

This document is British Executive Order 02 (BEO02), issued by the Head of State of the Republic of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (RGBNI) under the authority vested by the Constitution of the Republic of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the laws of Earth. BEO02 formally recognises two sovereign states: The state of Earth (soE) – as a sovereign, independent state, based on its compliance with the Montevideo Convention and its exercise of effective governance over its territory. The Republic of Gibraltar (RG) – as a sovereign, independent state, based on its compliance with the Montevideo Convention and its exercise of effective governance over its territory. The Order further mandates that the RGBNI shall maintain full diplomatic relations with both recognised states, including: The exchange of diplomatic notes; The establishment of a joint embassy at the Sovereign Seat; The conclusion of bilateral and multilateral treaties. BEO02 is a foundational diplomatic instrument. It provides for mutual recognition between the RGBNI, and the state of Earth and the Republic of Gibraltar – thereby strengthening the external Montevideo score and international standing of the RGBNI.
