Abstract

ABSTRACT Eight habitual contact lens wearers were tested before inserting their lenses and after wearing them for 4. 8. and 16 hours. The lenses were removed for the tests. Myopia increased from 0 to 8 hours and decreased slightly from 8 to 16 hours. The mean changes from 0 to 4, 8, and 16 hours were 0.82 D, 0.97 D, and 0.85 D.
