This paper examines the choice of endings for polysyllabic masculine nouns of for-eign origin in the Bulgarian language. It focuses on two-component closed compounds borrowed from English, such as десктоп ‘desktop’, подкаст ‘podcast’, саундтрак ‘soundtrack’, гигабайт ‘gigabyte’, and никнейм ‘nickname’. The study also investigates the factors that influence the preferred choice of morphological ending.
