Discussion

Investigation shows enhanced gain in terahertz antenna with substrate integrated waveguide and photonic band gap, indicating improved performance.

The proposed antenna achieves impressive gains of 6.75 dBi, 6.86 dBi, and 6.82 dBi across specific frequency points.
Resonances have been identified at 2.5 THz, 3.5 THz, and 5.2 THz, emphasizing the design's effectiveness in the terahertz range.
The integration of a silicon substrate around the antenna significantly contributes to gain enhancement and performance.
A thorough parametric analysis supports the innovative design, reinforcing reliability in application.
