Impact of collaborative innovation networks and knowledge management on innovation performance of lighting enterprises is explored, highlighting the roles of network scale and openness.
The Internet, big data, artificial intelligence, and other advanced technologies have become an important driving force for the development of the new era. Technological innovation is a key means for all walks of life to break through the bottleneck. With the increasing complexity of technology, the industrial chain of lighting enterprises is constantly optimized and upgraded. However, achieving innovation is difficult when relying only on the independent operation of enterprises. Thus, enterprises must be placed in a collaborative innovation network, and collaborative enterprises, scientific research institutes, governments, financial institutions, and other multi-subjects work together for collaborative development to effectively improve the innovation performance of lighting enterprises. To further explore the influencing factors of lighting enterprises’ innovation performance from the perspective of collaborative innovation network, this study designs a theoretical model of the impact of these enterprises’ innovation performance. Moreover, this research uses SPSS22.0 to explore the scale of collaborative innovation network, openness of the collaborative innovation network, and relationship strength of collaborative innovation network. The current study also analyses the impact of lighting enterprises’ innovation performance and the mediating effect of knowledge management ability on the impact of collaborative innovation network on these enterprises’ innovation performance. Results show that the reliability coefficient of the entire questionnaire is 0.870, the KMO value is 0.870, the corresponding P-value is below 0.01, and the validity of the questionnaire is good. The scale of collaborative innovation network, openness of collaborative innovation network, and relationship strength of the collaborative innovation network have significant roles in promoting the innovation performance of lighting enterprises. Knowledge management ability plays a partial intermediary role in collaborative innovation promoting the innovation performance of lighting enterprises. Results of this study are of immense value for enriching the research on the impact of collaborative innovation network on the innovation performance of lighting enterprises, helping to improve the innovation performance of Chinese lighting enterprises, improving the theory of innovation performance evaluation, and guiding the practice of innovation performance evaluation.
