Theoretical analysis uncovers key mechanisms in the integration of BIM and ERP for construction management, suggesting improvements in project efficiency.
In the context of digitalization of the investment and construction industry, the development of integrated management models that ensure end-to-end project management at all stages of the life cycle is of particular importance. The article is devoted to the theoretical and methodological substantiation of the integration of building information modeling (BIM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems as a fundamental element of strategic investment management in construction. The author analyzed the functional and structural compatibility of BIM and ERP systems, defined the architectural principles of their integration, and disclosed the key mechanisms and limitations of interaction. The article presents a tabular presentation of the concept of the integration approach architecture and provides recommendations for improving the efficiency of end-to-end construction investment management and the impact of BIM and ERP system integration on key indicators of construction projects. The need to implement a modern management paradigm based on consistency, transparency, adaptability and digital transformation of the construction industry is summarized.
