Control method enhances dynamic performance in three-level DC-DC converters, suggesting improved robustness and response speed.
In order to solve the problem of insufficient dynamic performance of the traditional Current Stress Optimization (CSO) control for applications in a Three-Level-Dual-Active-Half-Bridge (TLDAHB), a control method combining Model Predictive Control (MPC) and CSO is proposed. In this paper, the average model is analyzed to predict output voltage at future moments. And by building about loss function to find the optimal shift ratio collocation that makes the loss function smallest. Finally, it is verified by simulation that the proposed method has better dynamic performance compared to the traditional method, such as no overshooting, faster response, and stronger robustness. Meanwhile, the two methods have similar current stress optimization performance.
