Exploratory project enhances sustainability and design optimization in fashion accessories through 3D printing, suggesting a promising shift in manufacturing practices.
The article examines the possibilities of using architectural elements of the Dancing House as a source of inspiration for the design and realižation of unisex shoes and fashion accessories. The focus is on the sustainability of the design through the integration of additive manufacturing technologies that enable waste reduction, design optimižation and production on demand. This approach contributes to a more environmentally friendly production model. The work is also in line with current Industry 4.0 guidelines, the implementation of which in the footwear industry offers significant potential for greater efficiency, less manual labour and a smaller environmental footprint. In the experimental part of the project, advanced manufacturing technologies were used, including 3D printing for the production of the sneaker sole prototype, as well as gluing and bonding techniques for the production of the shoe upper, bag and belt. By combining architectural inspirations with sustainable and technologically advanced production methods, this work contributes to the development of innovative solutions in the field of footwear and fashion accessories design, reflecting current trends in sustainability and interdisciplinary.
