Oil Flax Bred at V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops as a Parent Material in the Central Region of the Non-Chernozem Zone

The article presents the results of the study of four varieties of oil flax (Severny, Svetlyachok, Y117, VNIIMK 620 FN) at the field station of K.A. Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural Academy in 2024. The variety VNIIMK 620 FN showed the highest yield among all the varieties presented (27.73 quintal/ha), the same sample provided the highest yield of main products (oil) from 1 ha (1209.30 kg/ha). The other varieties did not show a reliable decrease in yield compared to the variety VNIIMK 620 FN, which shows their high potential for cultivation in the Central region of the Non-Chernozem zone.
