Proposed evaluation framework improves investment outcomes in high-reliability power grids, suggesting better integration of performance metrics.
Ensuring investment efficiency and operational safety is critical for the sustainable development of high-reliability power grids. This study proposes a comprehensive evaluation framework that integrates an improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) with a multi-dimensional benefit evaluation model to assess post-investment effectiveness. Unlike existing models that often neglect the synergy between technical reliability and business performance, the proposed framework incorporates both operational indicators and corporate value creation metrics, providing a more holistic assessment of grid investment outcomes. The model is validated through a case study on a distribution network project in China, demonstrating enhanced accuracy and applicability in real-world scenarios. This research offers a novel methodological contribution to the field of power grid evaluation and provides practical insights for energy planners and utility investors seeking data-driven and sustainable investment strategies.
